Description | Interior largely unglazed but a wheel-glazed band suggests that this is from an open vessel and that the sherd is from the upper part. Exterior; rim unglazed, glaze band on underside. Zig-zag line on upper wall bordered above and below by three glaze painted lines. On lower part of sherd is a hatched rectilinear design perhaps part of a maeander. Fine, substantial buff clay pinkish at the core. |
