Description | Large orange ware jar with short, flaring, narrow neck, direct rim, oval mouth. Single vertical handle with thumb rest from mid-neck to upper shoulder. Exterior, vertical burnishings, 4 incised leaf patterns, and short parallel lines at base of neck and on shoulder under handle. Rounded base and globular body. Surface is very weathered and covered with concretion. Two irregular small holes near base. |
