Round bottom, cup-shaped neck, two vertical loop handles on upper body, molded pebble and fillet wide band on upper body. Red pot with encircling dot and line relief decoration

Narrow-necked jar/bottle with a carinated body, flaring neck, rounded rim, 2 strap handles on the body, and a rounded base. No molded/modeled additions. The vessel has a raised dot and line design and is orange slipped. There is an incised line pattern around the rim. The vessel appears to have been smoothed with a rotative movement on the exterior and scraped on the interior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. Fireclouding is present on the body. The discoloration and porosity at the top of the vessel suggest that it may have been over-fired. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink on the bottom of the base. Black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "3313c."
