Description | Pottery. Unbroken but slip and paint are damaged. Fabric like MS 831, but covered with a polished slip which has fired to a light drab color over underlying reddish fabric. Handmade. Rippled shoulder. On rim two shallow horizontal grooves to aid in applying white design of which only a zigzag remains. Inside lip: reserved zigzag between interlocking white triangles. On shoulder: traces of other pattern; bands of white on the handle. |
