Description

Stack of circa 18 paper thin rings of sea turtle shell, held together with bindings of plant fiber run through pairs of small holes.. Rings are 3 cm. wide with an outside diameter of 11 cm. Stack bound together by the string of a cloth tag: "Tortoiseshell bracelets worn by women. Two taken from set to [illegible]."
