Description | Stemmed scraper. Curved working edge unifacially retouched. One edge straight. Wide stem. Shiny black obsidian with rusty marbling. Stemmed scrapers were found throughout the Jomon period. 29-183-41 and 29-183-44 are examples of another form of scraper. They both are flat, with a straight edge and rounded cutting edge. |
